Territory and History
Fonte de’ Medici water is born in Monte San Savino, where water is not just a resource:
it is culture.
The natural springs that still feed the mineral water today—such as Fonte de’ Medici—bear witness to a deep bond between territory and purity, nature and history.
About Us
The town is not only a Tuscan village of rare harmony; it is also a crossroads of history, art, and power.
Among its Renaissance architecture, the influence of the Medici family is unmistakable. Thanks to their protection, between the 16th and 17th centuries Monte San Savino experienced a period of great splendor.
The village was elevated to a Marquisate and became a center of power and culture in Renaissance Tuscany.
Its streets were enriched with noble palaces and new prestigious architecture, and the heart of the town beat in rhythm with Medici ambitions, blending art with enlightened governance.
Monte San Savino thus became a jewel of Tuscany, flourishing like a lily under the shadow of the Medici.
Val di Chiana: Generous Nature and Land of Civilization
Monte San Savino lies at the heart of Val di Chiana, a wide, fertile, and luminous valley that for centuries has represented one of Tuscany’s most iconic landscapes.
Here, nature is generous, shaped by centuries of harmony between people and the environment: gentle hills, historic farmland, natural springs, and a climate that promotes hydrogeological balance.
Today, Val di Chiana is synonymous with agricultural and environmental excellence.
It is within this unique setting that Fonte De’ Medici is born, in a land where the culture of water is deeply rooted in history.
